Dear Students!
You can choose one of the following topics for your final thesis:
- Essay (in a foreign language) or
- Qualitative translation and analysis (language directions BA and CA) or
- Analysis of an interpretation event (BA or AB and CA or AC directions).
In all cases, please consult the thesis topic and source material with the chosen thesis supervisor(s).
The thesis topic must be submitted on the thesis registration form by the last day of the registration week of the 3rd semester (hard copy at the Institute secretariat).
The content and format requirements for the thesis can be found in the downloadable documents.
During the course of studies, one thesis consultation (I and II) must be taken in semesters 3 and 4 with the subject supervisor(s) of your choice. If you have two subject supervisors (e.g. for a qualifying translation), one thesis consultation must be taken with each of them, the requirements for which must be agreed with the respective supervisor for the semester in question.
